Hollywood star Jennifer Lawrence topped the chart of World's Highest Paid Actresses for a second year in a row. Most of her earnings have come from the profit share of final installment of 'Hunger Games' and huge advance she took for upcoming project 'Passengers'. She pocketed $46 million for a period of one year, making it almost $13 million higher than the second-ranked Melissa McCarthy.
Compared to last year, Jennifer Lawrence earning capability has fallen by 11.5% ($52 million in 2015). Still, she continues to dominate.
Melissa McCarthy occupied 2nd position after her total earnings have gone up by $10 million compared to last year. She earns anywhere around $33 million.
Scarlett Johansson is at 3rd spot with an earnings of about $25 million.
Deepika Padukone is the only newcomer in the list. She pocketed a bomb in the form of remuneration for Bollywood & Hollywood Projects and over 10 Endorsement deals.
