Jiah Khan committed Suicide: CBI

In the charge sheet filed by it in the court, CBI clearly mentioned that Bollywood actress Jiah Khan has committed suicide on June 3rd, 2013. This confirmation proves the allegations of Rabiya Khan (Jiah's Mom) that Sooraj Pancholi murdered her daughter were baseless.
The investigation agency said forensic experts and opinion of the doctor who had done postmortem confirms death of Jiah Khan was suicidal in nature. CBI also told the unsigned 3-page recovered from Jiah Khan's residence after her death represents her mental status and circumstances which forced her to take the extreme step.
CBI informs the court that intimate relationship between Jiah Khan and Sooraj Pancholi, mental torture & physical abuse she has underwent during the course of time has led to the suicide. So, Sooraj Pancholi was booked under Section 306 of the IPC for abetment to suicide, whereas murder has been ruled out.
Jiah Khan met Sooraj Pancholi through Facebook in 2012 and they began dating after some time. She became pregnant and had even aborted the foetus. On the day of her death, Jiah left Sooraj's house where she stayed for 2-3 days. They had a serious exchange of words on their mobiles and Jiah accused him of lying about his meeting with a common friend (a lady). Enraged with it, Sooraj deleted Jiah's Blackberry Messenger account from his mobile. When Jiah called him at midnight, There's agains a verbal spat and later Sooraj sent few abusive text messages to her. Rabiya Khan found her daughter hanging to a ceiling fan when she came home and immediately informed the cops.
