Journalists Smiled! How KCR Reacted?
By: Tupaki Desk | 13 April 2018 11:28 AM GMTA delegation led by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday met JD (S) Supremo and former PM Deve Gowda for the sake of Federal Front. Prakash Raj accompanied KCR during the tour of Karnataka.
Addressing media post the meeting, KCR said: 'I am here Today for a movement...There is necessity for a qualitative change in the country. Congress and BJP ruled for more than 65 years but they have failed to deliver miserably. Why there should be a fight between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka for Cauvery Water? Does it make any sense to keep it pending for 7 decades? India is bestowed with 70,000 tmc of water. Cultivable Land is only 40 crore acres. Even if we give water to every acre in the country, We would have 30,000 surplus water. People have waited for 7 decades..neither there is water for drinking nor for agriculture. Who is responsible for the water wars in the country? 65 Years weren't sufficient to solve this problem? Deve Gowda had been PM already, there is no bigger post than it. I am 64, achieved my dream of statehood and ruling Telangana as CM successfully. What more we want? Water wars are happening because of inaction and inability of Congress and BJP. This isn't a silly political front, it's a people's front. Any party who wishes to join the front will be welcomed..it's in the interest of the Nation. I appeal all the parties to come out of the trap. Let us save Bharat Mata...Let us try to deliver'.
Telangana CM appealed Telugu people in Karnataka to vote for JD (S) in the upcoming Assembly Polls. He even offered to campaign for the victory of JD (S) in Karnataka. When few Journalists smiled to the call given by him, KCR replied: 'You might be laughing Today. It's only a matter of 30-35 days. After May 12th, I will come back to Bengaluru, then we will meet happily. See, What will happen!'.
