First Victory For Jana Sena In Telangana

Jana Sena Party left a mark of its own for the first time in Telangana. JSP Candidate Prithvi got elected as MPTC in the local body polls. He won with a healthy margin of 400 votes. While Prithvi secured 1,457 votes contesting for MPTC of Joolapalli Village of Ghanpur, Neither TRS nor Congress Candidate managed to get anywhere close to him.
Supporters of Pawan Kalyan are celebrating the first victory of Jana Sena in Telangana. They hail Prithvi for emerging victorious following the principles of the party such as refraining from distribution of money and liquor.
In the Local Body Polls, TRS won 80 percent of ZPTCs (446) and 60 percent of MPTCs (3,556 seats). Congress remained at second position with 76 ZPTCs and 1,377 MPTCs. BJP, on the other hand, managed to get 8 ZPTCs and 211 MPTCs. TDP won 21 MPTCs. Others account for 5 ZPTCs and 573 MPTCs.
