Junior VS Seniors In IAS Circles
By: Tupaki Desk | 26 Dec 2020 3:20 AM GMTA section of the IAS officers in Telangana state are deeply unhappy, but are unable to meet the CM to vent their grievances. These IAS officers are upset by the complete domination by half-a-dozen IAS seniors. These seniors are said to be controlling everything, including access to Telangana CM KCR. As a result, the juniors are said to be fretting and fuming.
Sources in the Secretariat say that several mid-level and young IAS officers are now planning to go on deputation to the Centre, where the Modi government is treating them with respect. Those who have innovative ideas and put in hard work are being appreciated. On the contrary, the seniors in the Telangana administration are not even allowing the juniors to meet the CM.
âOnly six or seven senior officials are having access to the CM. They are leveraging on this to browbeat us. These seniors are not giving us any opportunity to work. Our work is not being recognized here,â complained a young IAS officer on condition of anonymity.
One officer is functioning without a car for the past three months. He has in fact been provided with a car, but the driver's salary has not been paid. The fuel expenses are also not met. As a result, the official is forced to use his own vehicle for commutation. Even a senior official like Srilakshmi has opted to work in Andhra Pradesh.
