Political Parties and Media were hesitating to criticize Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's rule for some reason or the other. In such a situation, Prof. Kodandaram lashed out at KCR for failing to address the issues of farmers and poor in the past few years. He even fixed a three year deadline for TRS Government before warning that adequate measures will be taken if results weren't produced.
A day later, Retired Justice Chandrakumar dared to question 'Will Telangana CM sell his farmhouse for just Rs 5 lakh?' while reacting to the nominal price offered to land owners during the land acquisition taken up by State Government for Mallanasagar reservoir. He demanded Government to offer land to whoever lost their immovable assets. 'Is this how the Golden Telangana can be achieved? How can land acquisition be carried out without issuing a notification?,' he questions.
