Telangana Leaders have supported Andhrites demand for Special Category Status. Yes, This is very much true! In the 3-and-a-half hour discussion on Private Members Bill seeking Special Status to AP, TRS MP K Kesava Rao and Congress MP Renuka Chowdary showed they won't remain as mere spectators if injustice is being done to Telugu People irrespective of state.
K Kesava Rao made it clear in Upper House that TRS is in favor of Special Status to AP. He stressed the need to fulfill all the promises made in the Parliament and AP Reorganisation Act 2014.
Renuka Chowdary, on the other hand, got a bit emotional during her speech on Special Status. 'Do you want 5 crore Andhrites to beg for Special Status? Is this for political gains? You should realize that goodness of Andhrites isn't their weakness. Don't make excuses!,' she warned.
In a way, Telangana Leaders proved that they have fought for the good cause better than Andhra MPs.
