K Laxman replaces Kishan Reddy

Musheerabad Legislator K Laxman has been elected as the Legislature Party Leader by newly-elected Telangana BJP MLAs.
All the BJP MLAs met under the leadership of BJP Telangana unit president G Kishan Reddy to decide on who will lead the party in Assembly. While K Laxman has been chosen as Legislature Party Leader, Chintala Ramachandra Reddy and NVVS Prahakar will be acting as Deputy Leaders of the Party in Assembly. Raja Singh will be the party whip.
It was Kishan Reddy who is BJP's Legislature Party Leader during 2009 and 2014. He seems to be not interested in retaining the post this time.
Sources say, Kishan Reddy is preparing to contest Medak by-poll that would be held in 6 months time.
