K. Raghavendra Rao's 'Deed' For Special Status

We all have our beliefs and take them dear to our heart. Many think when they give up something to God, then he or she will grant us our wish.
It could be true or false but many believe in such rituals. To get a positive vibe when they are starting a work, they pray to God that they will give up something or do a deed, so that they will get a positive result.
Normally, giving up hair or beard of our body to Lord Venkateswara is seen as a huge deed that will please him to grant us our wish. Mythologically, this process is invented for us to leave the bad parts of our personality like Ego, extreme love, possessiveness before the ultimate and learn humility.
Well, K. Raghavendra Rao, legendary director made this process into a special deed that he does before the release of a film towards Lord Venkateswara, to grant his wish and as a Thank You.
He recently tonsured his beard and said, "Lord Venkateswara has been kind towards me and my wishes. This time, I wish for Andhra Pradesh good and people. I believe my God will definitely listen my words and consider my deed. We will get Special Status with his blessings."
If this is true, then many of Telugu families should just go to Tirumala tonsure their heads and hope that Lord will do everything for us.
