K Raghavendra Rao Resigns! What's Up?

K Raghavendra Rao tendered his resignation to the post of Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel Chairman. He claimed to have taken this decision due to age-related factors. The Veteran Filmmaker wished that TTD Board and Staff should have the blessings of the almighty. He thanked all those who cooperated with him until now.
Since 2015, K Raghavendra Rao has been the member of TTD Board. TTD Board Meeting is scheduled to happen on Tuesday. There were speculations that members of the TTD Board will be resigning any time soon.
It's no secret that K Raghavendra Rao was able to be a Member of TTD Board and Chairman of Bhati Channel because of his close dealings with TDP Leadership. Telugu Desam Party isn't in power anymore. The newly elected YSR Congress Government would choose the prominent personalities of it's choice for the TTD Posts. As the replacement could happen anytime soon, K Raghavendra Rao might have decided to step down voluntarily.
