CM's Son, MP & 5 Ministers Offered Me 100 Crore!
By: Tupaki Desk | 18 Jun 2019 8:49 AM GMTFew days ago, YCP Minister Gummanur Jayaram created a sensation by disclosing he turned down Rs 50 crore and Ministerial Berth offered by Chandrababu Naidu through middlemen when he was the AP CM for changing the party. Yet another YCP Leader made a similar allegation on the TDP Leadership.
Gudur MLA Vara Prasad Rao, who was Tirupati MP from 2014 to 2019, alleged Chief Minister's Son, TDP Rajya Sabha MP from Kadapa and Five Ministers offered to pay him Rs 100 crore for joining TDP. He added, 'This proposal was brought soon after the Nandyal by-poll but I declined it straight away. I conveyed to those Leaders that my party is like Mother to Me. None of the 23 MLAs would have joined TDP had if they thought in such a manner. TDP had made a mockery of democracy by indulging in horse-trading'.
For staying loyal to the party, YS Jaganmohan Reddy offered MLA Ticket to Vara Prasad Rao in 2019 Elections and ensured his victory in Gudur Constituency.
Those who came to know about the shocking comments of Jayaram and Vara Prasad Rao are wondering how much payment was received by 23 MLAs and 3 MPs who defected to TDP.
