TDP gets its first BC president

Finally the suspense has cleared. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu finalized name of President of AP TDP.As expected CBN votes for Srikakulam district MLA and senior leader Kala Venkata Rao for the post. Chandrababu Naidu took the decision before leaving to Singapore but the official announcement will be made once he returns from Singapore.
Kala Venkata Rao is one of the senior leader and he has won four times from the constituency on TDP ticket. He is a former minister and was former MP for Rajya Sabha too. In 2008, he migrated to megastar Chiranjeevi established 'Praja Rajyam' party but he returned back to TDP in no time. This is the first time ever that a BC leader is going to be head of the Telugu Desam Party.
Meanwhile total focus has been shifted to the Telangana president name. L Ramana and Revanth reddy are in the race for the most coveted post.
