Apologise & Accept My Salute: Kamal tells Modi

In a column he wrote for Tamil magazine Anandavikatan, Kamal Haasan had apologized for supporting Demonetisation which failed to achieve the desired goals due to poor implementation.
Soon after PM Modi's November 8th announcement scrapping Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes, Kamal responded: 'Salute Mr. Modi. This move has to be celebrated across political party lines. Most importantly by earnest tax payers'.
The 62-Year-Old Actor felt People should bear minor glitches to eradicate black money. Even his friends and those who are good at economics criticized him for making such a statement.
As now Demonetisation has been proven a failure, Kamal Haasan didn't hesitate to issue a public apology. At the same time, He wants Prime Minister Narendra Modi to admit the mistake and accept his 'salute'. 'After all, Accepting mistakes and rectifying them is what Statesmanship is all about,' he opined.
