Reports of Kamal Haasan criticizing Tamil Nadu Government for failing to handle the floods in Chennai in an effective manner began doing rounds since the past few days. It was speculated that the actor pointed fingers at the ruling party led by J Jayalalithaa during his recent interview.
Kamal Haasan came out in open to clear the air. Firstly, He informed the said interview was sent by him to a North Indian Journalist Friend over email and he hadn't criticized Tamil Nadu Government at all. Initially, Kamal thought the truth will come out but the debates about his remarks continued for days, forcing him to issue a clarification.
The 'Cheekati Rajyam' Star explained whatever he spoke was his anger that came from the suffering of the people due to disaster. In counter to the tax money allegations by Tamil Nadu Minister O Panneerselvam, He made it clear never been once did he invade his taxes.
Kamal claims to be in constant touch with Narpani Iyakkam which his helping the flood victims at the ground level. He advised his critics to focus on work need to be done in crisis situation.
