Don't Consume or Distribute that Drink: Kamal

He raised concern over the distribution of the drink in huge quantity without doctor's guidance.
Tamil Nadu Health Department released a drink made of papaya leaves as a remedy for dengue. There was a panic situation after rumours were spread that consuming such a drink would lead to impotency.
AIADMK Minister Kadambur Raju questioned, 'Is Kamal a scientist? Nilavembu Kudineer will have no side-effects'. G Devarajan, an activist, lodged a police complaint accusing the actor of spreading fear among the people for political gains. In response, Kamal issued a statement clarifying he just advised his fans not to distribute the drink until its effectiveness is proved.
As per official data, Over 50 people died due to dengue in Tamil Nadu. Whereas, Opposition Parties allege the actual death toll has surpassed 500.
