'I will become CM if People are Honest'

Kamal Haasan offered much more clarity on his entry into active politics in an interview given to National Media.
The Legendary Actor expressed his wish to be Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. 'If People wish to see a Honest Person in a top position, First of all the Voters need to be Honest. People have been part of corruption in Politics. Rs 5000 was offered per vote but people are worth more than what was paid. People settled for Rs 5000 for 5 years. I want to change the pathetic situation,' he says.
Interestingly, Kamal Haasan opined PM Narendra Modi has at least tried something while others have only made promises. He feels Swachh Bharat and Demonetisation are good ideas but doesn't ignore the fact that Economists have declared Note Ban is a failure.
Kamal maintained he will join hands with Rajinikanth if his good friend agrees to the rules set by him for his party. He says they might be good friends but their ideologies are different.
