A Must Read: Kamal Haasan's take on Beef Ban!
By: Tupaki Desk | 9 Nov 2015 10:32 AM GMTKamal Haasan has always maintained he isn't an athiest but rationalist. That means he is someone who prioritizes reason over emotion.
While delivering his speech during his 61st Birthday on November 7th, Kamal Haasan reacted on the beef-ban issue which has become a talking point off late. Reminding that there are people who don't even get food to eat in India, He suggested: "Don't give us Menu that we can eat, First feed the foodless". For the haters, The Versatile Actor asks them not to eat beef if they don't like it.
Even on the return of awards, Kamal Haasan has got a stand of his own and won't be returning his National Awards at any cost. He even questions, 'Did Mahatma Gandhi returned his barrister degree in protest against the British rule?'.
Kamal maintains he doesn't need to join politics to serve the people. He had already made his Fan Clubs into Welfare Union for social service.
