Kamal Rules Out Liquor Prohibition & Freebies

Kamal Haasan believes implementation of Liquor Prohibition does more harm than good to the people. 'Whether or not there is necessity for so many liquor shops is a valid question. We need to go in search of Post Office, but there is no need for any search operation to find TASMAC run by Government. This situation should change!,' he said.
The 63-Year-Old made it clear it's practically impossible to make the entire society dislike liquor. He sees the threat of liquor mafia if prohibition is implemented. 'Liquor Consumption is different from Gambling and it can't be stopped all of sudden as human body takes time to adjust. Liquor consumption can be reduced but I doubt it can be stopped. We have seen Governments implement prohibition and lift it later..it's part of the game. These tricks were used by parties for attracting women voters.
