Kamal Haasan dared to ask PETA to quit India and not to interfere in matters related to India's culture. He took to Twitter in support of the bull-taming sport on the same day two people were killed and many other injured while playing it.

The 'Viswaroopam' Star wrote: 'PETA go ban bull riding rodeos in Mr. Trump's U.S. You're not qualified to tackle our bulls. Empires have been made to quit India'.

Kamal cautioned Government saying aggressive police action on students willn't yield good results. At the same time, He advised protestors to remain calm and stay hopeful of a positive solution. He also asked people to be beware of the possibility of American aerated drink makers coming forward to sponsor Jallikattu.

Earlier, Kamal appealed people to stop hurting Trisha just because she differs with their views. He asked those who opposed Jallikattu calling it cruelty against animals to stop eating biryani first and imposing a ban on it as well. 'I am a fan of Jallikattu, probably one of the few actors to play it. I am a proud Tamilian and this is our culture,' he told.

Kamal points out how people hurt bulls in countries like Spain whereas they were treated like gods in India. He explained Jallikattu is about taming a bull but not breaking its horns or other body parts.
