Kamal Haasan To Become Torch-Bearer

Actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasanâs has established his own political party Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM). Now, EC has been allotted battery torch as a party symbol to contest in elections.
It is known that MNM was launched in February 2018 and Kamal has announced that they will contest for all 39 Lok Sabha seats in Tamil Nadu on its own. As they got a party symbol now, Kamal Haasan thanked the Election Commission. "MNM thanks the Election commission for granting us the "Battery Torch" symbol for the forthcoming elections. So appropriate. @maiamofficial will endeavor to be the âTorch-Bearerâ for a new era in TN and Indian politics." Tweeted Kamal Haasan.
On the film front, Kamal Haasan will be next seen in 'Bhaarateeyudu 2' movie directed by Shankar. Lyca Productions is bankrolling this project.
