Kamal Haasan to take the path of Rajinikanth?

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan who stays active on the political developments in the state and outside the state floated his outfit Makkal Needhi Maiam amid much fanfare and expectations and contested the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Despite losing the elections, the party had attracted a good amount of votes in the elections.
The party entered the general elections in Tamil Nadu. Kamal Haasan supporters and fans pinned high hopes that he can be the game-changer or at least a deciding factor in the elections. Sadly, the party could not even open its account in the elections and failed to win at least one seat.
Forget about others, even Kamal Haasan could not win the elections and lost the Assembly elections. Since then, the bad time for the party started and a few senior leaders have quit the party making the cadre doubt the future of the party.
All these factors have started a new opinion that the political career of Kamal Haasan is nearing the closing point given the circumstances. He is a busy actor who is balancing his film shoots and Bigg Boss shootings simultaneously. He recently started his clothing brand and he rarely gets free time with these works.
His age is also a key factor as he is nearing 70. Kamal Haasan is 67 now and recently got infected with the dreaded Coronavirus. Though he recovered from the virus and got discharged from the hospital, he should take a rest as per the doctor's advice. There is no update on how many days he should take a rest.
Stressing on the rest cited by the doctors, the political experts are now drawing a parallel with the case of legendary actor Superstar Rajinikanth who announced quitting the political spectrum after doctors advised him to take rest and not meet people.
