By: Tupaki Desk | 3 Nov 2020 1:59 PM ISTUniversal Hero Kamal Hassan who has floated his Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) back in 2018 has chaired a meeting with the district heads of the party as the Assembly polls are months away.
According to the reports, the Actor-turned-politician who chaired the meeting to discuss the alliance options with other parties made it clear that the party will not have any alliance with other parties.
The meeting was chaired to kick start the election preparations for the much-awaited Tamil Nadu Assembly polls which are slated to be commenced in May 2021 for 234 constituencies.

Looks like to avoid such speculations and reports, Kamal Hassan himself declared that he will not any alliance with the Dravidian parties.
The Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) party which contested the 2019 Lok Sabha polls with heavy expectations failed miserably after recording the lowest vote share in the polls.
