Kamal made those comments for Votes: Rajnath

Home Minister Rajnath Singh reacted strongly on the 'Hindu Terror' remark made by Kamal Haasan. 'I condemn it. There is no basis for making such comments. Our Government don't tolerate Terrorism in any form. But, These remarks were made for votes and political mileage,' he said.
When quizzed about the attack on 'Padmavati' film unit, Rajnath Singh commented Filmmakers have the responsibility to prove the reports in circulation were wrong when speculations of tweaking history surface.
In his column for Tamil Magazine, Kamal Haasan opined none of the Governments, except the Left Government in Kerala, were able to curtail Hindu Terrorism. He also made it clear Hindutva Groups can't spread their operations to Tamil Nadu.
Earlier, Kamal Haasan has withdrawn his support for Demonetisation after it's been proven as a big failure in implementation. He even backed 'Mersal' which had a satire on GST.
