Beach Love Fest? Don't Involve Us: AP Minister

Beach Love Fest 2017 planned in Visakha from February 12th to 14th has been creating tremors in the political circles. YSR Congress Leaders such as Roja declared that they willn't allow such festivals in the state. Even BJP Legislator Vishnu Kumar Raju disapproved holding events like Beach Fest for Tourism Development & Investments.
Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas Rao clarified State Government has no connection what-so-ever with Beach Love Fest 2017. 'Few private persons from Goa sought approval from Tourism Department & Municipality to host the Beach Love Fest 2017. We won't grant permission if such festivals are against our culture. Allegations of YCP are just baseless,' he added.
Should the statement of Kamineni be seen as the backtracking of AP Government from conducting the Beach Love Fest 2017? Seems like, CM Chandrababu Naidu has already made up his mind to deny permissions for such festivals in the wake of criticism from Political Parties. This is any example to show, why Vizag can't be a tourist destination like Goa any time soon despite having the resources?
