Kanna Eyes Kapu Vote Bank

Soon after his appointment as AP BJP President, Kanna Lakshminarayana focussed on how he could win the confidence of dominant Kapu Community. He held talks with Kapu strongman Mudragada Padmanabham who has been leading the reservations movement.
AP Government has passed a resolution in Assembly approving reservation for Kapus. Whereas, Union Government hasn't approved the recommendation so far. Mudragada kept alleging that CM Chandrababu Naidu isn't sincere about fulfilling his poll promise. He even accused the Chief Minister of trying to suppress the movement using police force. In such a situation, Mudragada badly needs the support a political party to take the movement forward.
Kanna Lakshminarayana assured Mudragada Padmanabham that he would take the responsibility of according reservations for Kapus. Even Mudragada is aware of the fact that the support of Centre is a must for fulfilling the big dream of Kapus. So, He mayn't deny support to BJP though it has gone back on Special Category Status.
