April 17th, 2018: Issuance of Notification
April 24th, 2018: Last Date to file Nomination
April 25th, 2018: Scrutiny of Nominations which were filed
April 28th, 2018: Last Date for withdrawal of Nominations
May 12th, 2018: Polling Date
May 15th, 2018: Counting of Votes
There are altogether 224 Assembly Constituencies in Karnataka. While there are 2.51 crore Male Voters, Female Voters are up to 2.44 crore. 60 lakh new voters will be exercising their right this time. EC decided to arrange 56,696 polling booths across the state. The term of present Assembly will end on May 28th, 2018.
