CM eats Fish before Temple Visit
By: Tupaki Desk | 24 Oct 2017 5:41 PM GMTKarnataka CM Siddaramaiah ate a meal of fish before visiting a Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara temple in Dharmasthala town in Dakshina Kannada district. However, The Chief Minister found nothing wrong about preferring a non-vegetarian meal. He even heckled BJP by commenting, 'What's wrong about it? I took Bhakta Kannappa as an inspiration. After failing to govern, The Saffron Party is concerned about my choice of food before I visit a temple'.
Former Minister Sogudu Sivanna breathed fire on the Chief Minister. 'Siddaramaiah went to Temple after eating a meal of fish. Will he go to durgah after eating pork? People would trust him only if he does it!,' he said.
A Temple Priest says, There are no conditions that people visiting temple should eat a certain food. But, Devotees should follow Hindu scriptural laws for performing certain services at a temple.
Will Siddaramaiah accept the challenge thrown by the political opponents? Wait & see!
