Joining the list of Actors-turned-politicians who tasted success in both fields, actress Divya Spandana aka Ramya tried her luck in the politics and served as the MP from Karnataka's Mandya. However, in the recent polls, she lost the elections, and later she was given the responsibility of handling the social media of the grand old Congress.
Divya Spandana stepped down from the post after the pictures she clicked of Rahul Gandhi allowed the BJP to troll him heavily. Since then, she has been serving as a Congress party leader. Looks like her tough time has been continuing at the party.
Defending a fellow Congressman did not go well with another Congressman who reportedly asked his supporters to troll her. Unable to take the trolling, the actress-turned-politician alleged that the Karnataka State Congress chief is behind this, and let his men troll her.
Going into detail, an alleged meeting happened between Congress' MB Patil and Karnataka Higher Education Minister C N Ashwath Narayan(BJP) recently. Congress's Shivakumar alleged that no come out of the police sub-inspector recruitment scam, Patil met the Minister.
Reacting to the tweet, Divya Spandana urged the Congress party to stop the internal fighting and the Congress leaders should fight for the public and the public causes. This had reportedly made Shivakumar angry and his followers are reportedly trolling Divya Spandana.
In a series of tweets, Divya Spandana alleged that Shivakumar started the online trolling against her, and a piece of news which says that she duped Congress for Rs 8 crore is being circulated to hinder her credibility.
