Kashmir Continues to Terrorize Pandits, Teachers Transferred!
By: Tupaki Desk | 4 Jun 2022 1:13 PM GMTThe Jammu and Kashmir region in the '90s saw Kashmiri Pandits undergoing brutal harassment. They were forced to leave the valley for their safety. When Article 370 was removed and a few Pandits were transferred to the valley, everyone thought that Pandits would be safe in the place that belongs to them.
Hinting at the repeat of the horrific past, Hindus are now being targeted by terrorists. Recently, a bank manager and teacher were killed in a selected killing. Unsure about their safety in the region, Hindus recently held a march in the region threatening to leave the valley if the government won't focus on their safety.
To see that the Hindus in the valley will be safe, more than 170 Kashmiri Pandit teachers working in Srinagar were shifted to safer places. The government issued orders in this regard and the teachers reportedly received the orders of their transfer.
It has to be mentioned here that the union government had brought a few Kashmiri Pandits back to the valley under the special package. Special arrangements were given for them. However, they are being targeted by terrorists for the past few weeks.
The attacks on the Kashmiri Pandits in the valley started with the much-talked-about death of Rahul Bhat. After he was shot dead, his family members and other Hindus staged a protest demanding the safety of the Hindus in the region.
After Rahul Bhat's death, the Kashmiri Hindus raised the demand of leaving the valley if the attacks continue to rise. As the attacks are going on at regular intervals, thousands of Pandits recently threatened to move out of the valley if their safety is compromised.
