TDP MLC Babu Rajendra Prasad alleged Film Industry didn't bother to react when all the sections of people were fighting for Special Status. 'When Jallikattu was banned, Entire Tamil Film Industry has joined the movement. Whereas, Tollywood Heroes only knew how to describe heroines beauty but not fighting for rights. Why Heroes who create a scene when they don't get award remained mum now? If Film Celebs don't take part in the movement, We will abandon the Industry,' he warned.

Film Celebs has been responding on the senseless comments made by TDP Leader one after the other. Kathi Mahesh: 'Almost all the Heroes are associated with TDP some way or the other. Isn't Balakrishna alone enough? Where is the batch which shared Nandi awards among themselves? Where are those stars to whom you offered lands in Vizag? Where was Boyapati? Pawan Kalyan, Shivaji, Nikhil, Sampoornesh Babu, Tammareddy, Manchu Manoj, Koratala Siva, Myself had already spoken on Special Status. We took part in the movement. TDP Leaders have suddenly woken up and began projecting themselves as the only ones fighting for Special Status,' he alleged.

Tammareddy Bharadwaj appreciated Kathi Mahesh for recognizing the way he fought for the Special Status. He went on to say Kathi proved he is sharp on both sides with the way he reacted to TDP MLC's comments.
