Kavitha and Director Gautam Menon launch special Bathukamma Song

For this, the Telangana Jagruthi had collaborated with famous filmmaker and music director
One of the famous filmmakers from Southern industry Gautham Vasudev Menon had filmed the special Bathukamma song while AR Rahman had scored music for the song. Brinda master had choreographed the special song.
The special song was released just now by Gautham Vasudev Menon and former MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha at her residence. The 5: 02-minute long song starts with a few people humming the Bathukamma song. The family comes to a house where the Bathukamma is being celebrated.
The special song that was shot in various beautiful locations in the state shows how the festival is celebrated and ends with a group of ladies immersing the 'Batukammas' made of colorful flowers. Telangana Jagruthi had produced the special song.
As the floral festival that is celebrated for nine days will begin from tomorrow, the special song was launched a day before. The special song adds more festival mood to the floral festival.
On the occasion of the launch of the special Bathukamma song, AR Rahman and Kalvakuntla Kavitha took to microblogginsgite Twitter to share the news of releasing the special song for the festival.

Bathukamma festival falls during the monsoon region and people celebrate the festival to seek the blessings of Goddess Maha Gauri. As the season brings water to the water bodies, the goddess is worshiped in the form of Bathukamma. To celebrate the floral festival, women wear traditional wear as part of the celebrations. Different Bathukammas will be prepared by women on the nine days, one Bathukamma for one day.
