Kavitha Donates 1 Year Salary

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's Daughter and Nizamabad MP K Kavitha on Saturday announced that she would be donating her one-year salary to Telangana Jagruti Farmers Welfare Fund.
Kavitha: "Decided to donate my one year salary for the #TelanganaJagruthi farmers' welfare fund".
Recently, The TRS MP succeded in bringing the well-known Sportspersons of Telangana state on one platform to offer helping hand to the distressed farmers families. Telangana Jagruti has already adopted over 80 farmers families in the state and all of them will receive a monthly pension of Rs 5,000.
In the past one year, Around 1,000 farmers have committed suicides in Telangana region due to severe drought. Telangana Government has hiked the ex-gratia to the kin of farmers who committed suicide to Rs 6 lakh from Rs 1.5 lakh. Kavitha is doing her bit for the farmers under the platform Telangana Jagruti.
