Who is making Kavuri pay a huge price?

Congress Leaders Kavuri Sambasiva Rao and Lagadapati Rajagopal has been very aggressive during the Samaikyandhra agitation. Post bifurcation, Lagadapati quits politics permanently to lead a pleasant life and made good profits by selling power produced by Lanco to Telangana Government for a hefty price.
However, Kavuri Sambasiva Rao is facing a lot of issues after the statehood formation. Telangana Government shifted its focus to tax evasion of the five-time MP. Commercial Tax Department has come to the conclusion that Kavuri hasn't paid tax for the properties (Progressive Construction) he owns in Telangana and issued notices to place them for auction to recover the dues. Even though Kavuri moved High Court, Stay Order was denied but orders were issued to delay the auction till February 10th and asked the former MP to pay the amount before the deadline to settle the issue in an amicable manner.
Kavuri's Coterie allege TRS Government has deliberately targeted the senior politician. On the other hand, TRS Leaders claim action was taken as per the norms and tax evasion can't be ignored. Will Kavuri sell off his properties to pay dues or Plead KCR to save him?
