Is This KCR's Return Gift To Chandrababu?

One word that Chandrababu Naidu dreads most these days is Return Gift. Ever since KCR said that he would give a suitable return gift to Chandrababu Naidu, the AP Chief Minister is a worried man. He does not know what would be the return gift. Will it be Majlis trying to wean away Muslim votes from the TDP? Or will it be KCR campaigning in support of the YSRCP in the elections? Or will it be KCR using the government resources to pressurise TDP leaders to join the YSRCP? Or does it mean KCR will conduct raids on the assets and industries of the TDP leaders in Hyderabad?
It may not be any of these, say political watchers. The KCR may actually book cases against the TDP and its boss Chandrababu Naidu in connection with the data theft. With the Telangana government setting up a SIT to probe the issue, Chandrababu Naidu is worried. While he is trying to look tough and has even formed a rival SIT in AP, he finds himself on a sticky wicket. He finds that his party backers, its IT team are now on the dock and could be arrested anytime. This means, the party's IT-based operations would be affected exactly before the elections This also means that the party's apps would be completely immobilised during the election time. This will seriously handicap the TDP workers in the elections. Fear of cases and court proceedings will keep the party leaders on the tenterhooks and they would be afraid of visiting any place in Telangana. TRS sources say that the TRS will completely immobilise the TDP operations in Telangana and this will affect the party's overall performance in AP. This will help the YSRCP in a big way, say the sources.
