26 Safety Features for New Passbooks in T
By: Tupaki Desk | 7 Nov 2017 12:18 PM GMTTelangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao claimed credit for undertaking purification and updation of land records across the state.
KCR informed that New Passbooks to be issued soon to all the land owners will be as good as Passports. 'New Passbooks will have 26 safety features. They will be waterproof, nothing gonna happen even if they were left in water for one month. Special Pens will be given to the concerned officials to use during land registration. Each Farmer will be given a Survey Number no matter how many plots they own. An IT Official will be appointed in each revenue office. Farmers just need to visit the registration offices once if they wish to buy or sell. Selling or Buying of land will be updated online within a day. In addition to 141 Registration Offices, 445 Tahsildar Offices will be given the powers of Sub-Registrars,' he said in the House Today.
Condemning the claims of Congress Leaders that previous governments has regularly updated and purified land records, KCR point out that even the land issue of TPCC Chief Uttam's Father Purushotham was resolved during the recent land survey conducted by his Government. 15 Years Ago, Purushotham offered a land to a Tribal by the name D Hanumanth Naik but it wasn't registered until recently. Officials had cross-checked with Uttam who confirmed the land was given to the Dalit by his Father, and subsequently it's been registered in the name of Naik during the land survey conducted by TRS Govt.
