Telangana Chief Minister KCR made it clear that Cyber Towers wasn't built by Chandrababu Naidu. He pointed out that Congress Chief Minister Nedurumalli Janardan Reddy laid foundation stone for Cyber Towers.
KCR opined Hyderabad became IT Hub because of the advantages it have (such as favourable climate and the fact that people from different parts of the World live here), not due to Chandrababu Naidu. 'IT Companies told then PM Rajeev Gandhi that Hyderabad is suitable for them. Then, Rajeev Gandhi conveyed it to then Chief Minister of United AP. That's it, Babu has done nothing,' he said.
CM claimed several Indian States have been keen to implement TRS Welfare Schemes such as Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bheema. He alleged, 'Chandrababu Naidu has copied the industrial policy implemented by our government in Telangana. That itself is a proof that he knows nothing'.
TRS Supremo clarified Telangana Government has never opposed Special Category Status. He maintained TRS MPs spoke in favour of Special Status in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. 'Chandrababu Naidu alleges I am against Special Status. If you check the records, You would know who is against it. We are the ones who demanded Special Status for AP. I am willing to write a letter to PM asking him to accord Special Status to AP. As per AP Reorganisation Act, Industrial Incentives has to be provided to both AP and Telangana. We have been asking to implement it and also accord status to AP,' he asserted.
