KCR Credits YSR for his historic scheme in Assembly
By: Tupaki Desk | 18 March 2021 7:10 AM GMTTelangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao aka KCR is not like any other politician. He doesn't hesitate to shower praises on previous Chief Ministers despite the fact that they belong to Andhra Pradesh.
The other day, KCR was in all praise for late YSR, former Chief Minister of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh. The Chief Minister credited YSR for the historic 'Free Power' scheme to farmers in Assembly.
KCR credited YSR for the free power scheme and said their government is not doing any publicity for the scheme as S Rajasekhar Reddy has started the scheme. But we are taking forward the scheme, KCR said. With the government's initiative, the farmers in the state are getting electricity, he maintained.
It has to be noted that, earlier KCR showered praises of TDP founder, former Chief Minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao for giving reservations to BC's to encourage Backward classes in politics.
On the other hand, CM KCR hit out at the Congress party over fuel prices in the state. Terming the fuel prices hike as a key income source, KCR said, the Congress had also increased the fuel prices during their tenure.
