KCR declares Cheap Liquor sale from Oct 1

In a review meeting to figure out the new excise policy, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao made it clear that cheap liquor is being introduced as an alternative to ID liquor which is ruining the health of the poor. He declares his government would have full control of the manufacturing and supply of the cheap liquor.
KCR has given his consent to the draft of Telangana new excise policy. The new liquor policy will be notified after August 15th. Licences for setting up liquor shops will be issued as per the lottery system.
