Why 14 surveys if KCR is so confident?

KCR has been repeatedly saying that his party will get 100 seats whenever the electons to the 119-seat Telangana assembly are held. He said he is making these claims based on 14 surveys that he had commissioned. He said all these surveys predict that the ruling TRS will get 10 seats.
Despite all this, doubts persist. Of the 119, seven seats would go into the MIM kitty. That leaves 112 seats. Does KCR mean that the opposition BJP, Congress, the Left and Prof Kodandaram’s party will share just 12 seats among themselves?
Secondly, if KCR is so cocksure, why does he need 14 surveys? Five or six surveys would have been enough. Of course, the TRS brass is silent on this. Also, why is KCR not announcing the results of any of these 14 surveys? If he is so confident about winning 100 seats, why did he not go for bypolls by making the MLAs, who defected from other parties, resign their posts?
Foxy KCR may not answer these inconvenient questions. But, he may have to explain if the results are contrary to his claims.
