KCR Falling Short Of His National Politics Dream?
X
State politics and national politics are different. The factors which work in state politics will not work in national politics. This is the reason why we don't see state leaders entering or shining in national politics. Legendary actor NTR pulled off a rare stint and shined in national politics.

As he floated his party against the grand old Congress party, NTR brought all the major parties under one roof against the Congress at the national level. After Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao no leader from the southern states managed to do what he had done.

Telangana Chief Minister KCR is eyeing entering national politics. He is on a spree of meeting like-minded leaders in other states. KCR is busy gathering support from various corners to take on the mighty Bharatiya Janata Party.

KCR is not seeing much success in this regard. The Chief Ministers who earlier raised their voice against the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi went into silent mode. Uddhav Thackeray, who was a fierce critic of the BJP lost his power after Eknath Shinde turned rebel.

Mamata Banerjee is also not being harsh towards the saffron party. After her close aide, Partha Chatterjee was arrested in connection with the alleged teacher recruitment scam, she had to reshuffle her Cabinet. Not just that, she even showered praises on RSS. Recently, she said RSS is not bad and everyone associated with it is not bad.

Recently, KCR met Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar who ditched BJP. The awkward moment involving KCR and Nitish Kumar made many think that the alternative front might not be that easy to be formed.

The other leaders are also not showing any interest in joining hands for the alternative force as no one knows what happens next. After Nitish Kumar shocked BJP, the saffron party gave a return gift by inviting a few MLAs from Nitish Kumar's party to BJP.

Looking at all these developments, all the other leaders are being neutral. They are neither supporting the BJP nor attacking the party. Entering national parties is not a small thing and it needs a lot of support from various corners and parties. It looks like KCR is falling short of his big dream.
