KCR Forgets PV, No MLC Post For Vani Devi?

Till a few months ago, KCR and the TRS were holding forth showering praises on the father of economic reforms and former prime minister PV Narasimha Rao. KCR repeatedly talked about PV and had even demanded a Bharat Ratna for him. But today, both KCR and the TRS have completely forgotten PV Narasimha Rao so much so that he did not even bother to visit the PV memorial site in the Necklace Road on latter's anniversary.
More interestingly, there was a buzz that PV's daughter Vani Devi would be given an MLC post. KCR dropped enough hints to this effect and even Vani Devi shared stage with KCR on several occasions. But, today there is no such talk. In fact, KCR is filling one MLC post after another but, there is no mention of Vani Devi.
Sources say that KCR used PV's name to lure Brahmins to vote for his party in the GHMC election. He also dangled the carrot of MLC post to Vani Devi as a gesture to appease the Brahmin community, which is present in significant numbers in the GHMC area. However, with the GHMC outcome going completely against him, KCR doesn't need the Brahmins any longer. No wonder, there is no talk of an MLC post to her.
