Telangana Speaker: 4 MLAs Short-Listed!

Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao has been doing a one-man-show after the landslide victory in the 2018 Assembly Polls. He is yet to set up a full-fledged cabinet even after one month. Nobody within the party have the courage to question when the cabinet expansion would happen.
Who will be the next Telangana Speakar? None of the Senior Leaders in TRS are willing to accept the post due to the bad sentiment. Leaders who served as Speakers had mostly faced defeats in the next election. That is what happened in the case of Madhusudhana Chary as well. So, None of the Seniors are willing to take such a huge risk. This could be why TRS Cabinet expansion is getting delayed.
As per media reports, KCR short-listed four leaders for Speaker post. One among Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Padma Devendar Reddy, Etela Rajendar and Rekha Naik could be finalised. If Pocharam Srinivas Reddy or Padma Devendar Reddy becomes Speaker, Only one more Reddy Leader could get a placement in the TRS Cabinet.
KCR would go for cabinet expansion soon after Sankranthi. He might be inducted Eight MLAs into the cabinet in the first phase. Second cabinet expansion might happen after 2019 Lok Sabha Polls.
