Will KCR Be Able To Douse Fires Within TRS?

Early polls is the buzzword in Telangana these days. Though exuding lot of confidence and despite claiming that the TRS will win over 100 seats, KCR appears to be making calculated moves. He is going by surveys to know the public mood in various constituencies. He had said that except five MLAs, all other sitting MLAs would be renominated. This means that almost all of the 63 MLAs, who won in 2014, would be renominated. It also means that over 20 MLAs who either won in bypolls or defected to the TRS would also be renominated. If that is so, what will happen to other ticket aspirants? Will those refused tickets work for the official candidates?
KCR had also said that those who might not get tickets, will be given other plum jobs and that their interests would be taken care of. But, insiders tell us that at leat 10-15 sitting MLAs might be denied tickets. "It would not be just five tickets. At least 10 MLAs will be denied tickets," a party leader said.
Now, the TRS sources are debating as to which of the sittin MLAs be denied tickets. Several names are being heard. There is tension among the sitting MLAs as to whether their name would figure in the list or not. Those who are sure of getting tickets are working overtime to mollify rival ticket seekers and are ensuring that these would not go against them.
As of now, the situation appears to be tense but under control. But, as the time passes by, there is bound to be dissidence. Will KCR be able to manage these dissensions?
