The famous Ujjaini Mahakali Temple in Secunderabad is decked up for the floral festival Bonalu and the temple authorities made all the arrangements for the festival.
Kishan Reddy visited the Ujjaini Mahakali temple and offered the Bonam to the deity. After offering his prayers, Kishan Reddy spoke to the media and said that he is happy with the arrangements made at the temple for the festival and appreciated their efforts.
Bonalu is one of the big festivals in the state and it reflects the culture of Telangana. Following this, the state government gave its best in making arrangements for the festival.
Bonalu is an annual festival that is celebrated to pray to the Goddess Mahakali. It is like thanking the goddess for being kind to mankind and protecting them in the tough times. Various temples get to celebrate the festival as one temple celebrates the festival every week.
Devotees offer cooked rice to the goddess in a pot and a lamp is lit on the top of the pot. Devotees see the Bonam as sacred and distribute the prasadam to family members and friends.
