KCR hints Delimitation of Assembly Segments

During the TRS Legislature Party meeting, K Chandrasekhar Rao claimed he had received information about the Bill to be introduced by Centre for delimitation of Assembly Constituencies in Telugu States. If this happens, The Assembly Segments in Telangana State will be increased to 153 from existing 119. It gives an opportunity for TRS Leadership to offer MLA tickets to another 34 aspirants.
KCR declared he is going to announce the list of TRS Candidates three months before the next elections. He asked the aspirants not to hang around him for tickets. At the same time, An assurance on tickets was given to all the sitting MLAs of the party.
The last time TRS Supremo met Prime Minister to discuss about the delimitation of Assembly Constituencies, Narendra Modi gave an indication that there willn't be such a possibility until 2026. But now, Centre seems to have changed it's stand on the matter. Ruling Parties in Telugu States will welcome the move as they have encouraged defections in the past three-and-a-half years.
