KCR New Pension Scheme Will Benefit 47,000

Telangana CM KCR recently introduced a new scheme for the patients suffering from Filaria(Lymphatic Filariasis). He announced Rs.1,000 monthly pension to the patients suffering from filaria. This scheme will benefit nearly 47,000 filaria patients in the state.
Going into the details, Nizamabad MP Kavitha R&B Minister Thummala Nageswar Rao recently made a representation to the CM KCR regarding the troubles faced by several filaria patients in the state. Kavitha reported that the number of filaria cases is high in her constituency and the patients are unable to work because of their illness and sought the help of the state government.
Considering the request made my Kavitha, the CM asked the concerned health department officials to look into the issue and introduced a pension scheme for their relief. KCR directed the officials to provide medicines the patients. He asked them to take steps to increase awareness among the people regarding the filaria prevention.
