Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao has been meeting Leaders of as many regional parties as possible to strengthen Federal Front. Yesterday, He met DMK Supremo Karunanidhi and then went to MK Stalin's residence. TRS Supremo preferred to stay in Chennai on Saturday as well to meet few more leaders.
Today, KCR met Karunanidhi's Daughter and former Union Minister Kanimozhi to discuss about the national politics. TRS Leaders K Kesava Rao, Vinod, Etela Rajendar and MLC Palla Rajeswar Reddy accompanied Telangana CM during this visit. TRS Supremo introduced party leaders to Kanimozhi one after the other.
While MK Stalin handles the state-level matters of DMK, Kanimozhi takes care of the party at the National Level. This is why KCR meeting with Kanimozhi has got good prominence.
It's very clear that DMK offered no assurance to KCR on joining Federal Front as it still maintains good relations with the Congress Party. A final call will be taken based on the 2019 Lok Sabha Polls verdict.
