Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao proudly announced 89 percent of people in the state are happy with the Rythu Bandhu scheme. He made this declaration in the meeting conducted on the eve of TRS Government signing an agreement with LIC for providing Rs 5 lakh life insurance to each Farmer in the age group of 19 to 59.

Targeting his critics, KCR narrated a short story on this occasion - 'During the war against Ravana, Lord Rama was asked about the winning chances while fighting against Demons. Then, Rama told all the rivals will be killed if he uses Rama-Bhanam but it's against Dharma. Even Rama had used that weapon due to unavoidable circumstances. There were even youngsters among the deceased. They complained to Lord Rama about losing lives so early because of Rama-Bhanam and questioned him about their rest of the life span. Then, Lord Ram asked them to have a rebirth in Kaliyuga by splitting into a Group-of-4 for every village. Those demons have been criticizing everything I am doing now'.

During the meeting, KCR told his goal is to ensure half of the population in Telangana proudly claim they are farmers. He maintained Golden Telangana can't be achieved with words but by actions.
