KCR Dilemma Over Karnataka Politics
By: Tupaki Desk | 21 May 2018 6:55 AM GMTTelangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has been maintaining strategic silence over Karnataka Politics though JD (S) is all set to form the Government with the support of Congress.
Although Chief Ministers and Many Prominent Personalities including Rajinikanth has found fault with BJP for trying to get hold of power in a unacceptable manner, KCR choose to play it safe by remaining tight-lipped about the political developments. He didn't welcome BJP conceding defeat in the trust vote. Parties and People have expected TRS Supremo to at least congratulate JD (S) Chief Kumaraswamy ahead of his swearing-in ceremony.
Ahead of the Assembly Polls, KCR went to Bengaluru and extended his support to JD (S) for strengthening Federal Front with like-minded regional parties. He also appealed Telugus in Karnataka to vote for JD (S). He, however, maintained silence since the results were announced. How should people understand it?
Whereas, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee congratulated Kumaraswamy soon after Yeddyurappa's resignation. Even AP CM Chandrababu Naidu termed BJP's defeat as victory of democracy. But, KCR isn't willing to share his views? Is he fearing to speak against Modi? or Was he of the impression that Congress-JD (S) Govt won't survive for long? Will KCR attend the swearing-in ceremony?
