When the Telangana Movement intensified during the period 2009-2014, Few Political Leaders who sought bifurcation dared to question, 'Telugu Talliâ¦Evadiki Talli?'. Even TRS Supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao who spearheaded the movement announced Telangana Talli can alone be the mother of people of this region. Even making the poem 'Ma Telugu Talliki Malle Pu Danda' compulsory in schools was firmly opposed by several Telanganites.
'Prapancha Telugu Mahasabhalu' is scheduled to happened in the youngest state soon. CM KCR sanctioned Rs 50 crore for this prestigious event. Will he honour Telugu Poets and Literary Experts from Andhra Region as well?
Majority of the People are of the view - 'As the dream of Telanganites was fulfilled, At least now Telugu Talli should be given the due respect'.
TRS Government already began sending a positive indication through the hoardings established across Hyderabad. Portraits of Sri Sri, an Andhrite, appearing on them assure all those who contributed for Telugu Literature will be honoured irrespective of the geographical boundaries.
